A Robot Falcon, remotedly-operated mini-aircraft simulating a hawk, is launched in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The robotic falcon is able to fly at a speed of 30 mph and 300 m of altitude and was designed to frighten away the birds from around Rio's international airport runways, where in the last years, more than 900 collisions of birds with in-flight aircrafts were reported.
